About
Us

The Orthodontic Assisting School of Metro Atlanta (OASMA) was established in 2022. At OASMA, we offer a series of new, innovative and unique courses in the orthodontic assisting field. This course is designed to offer the best basic and fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to start a career.

This course is presented from the perspective of practicing orthodontists with more than 25 years of experience and an orthodontic team in an office environment. The goal of this program is to be a stepping stone to allow you, the graduate, to seek initial employment in an orthodontic/dental office.

You will gain knowledge of the basic dental sciences, proficiency in laboratory and clinical skills, and practical experience. Classes are conducted in a state-of-the-art dental facility equipped with quality dental instruments. We offer smaller class sizes to create a more focused and enhanced learning environment where every student is noticed and can connect more closely with their peers as they grow to become comfortable and confident in their skills and abilities.

At Orthodontic Assisting School of Metro Atlanta, you will receive both formal lecturing and an opportunity to apply what you are learning via hands-on training in a dental facility opposed to a traditional school classroom setting. You will also have direct oversight and real-time feedback from a licensed orthodontist. By the end of the training program, you will be confident in the basic knowledge and skills needed for an entry-level position as an orthodontic assistant.
